My Trouble My continuous coughs were abruptly interrupted by the uncomfortable regular visit of the doctor totally enveloped in white. A bony nurse followed him. Each time they came in, I would get terribly horrified. The nurse’s small eyes with a deadly gloomy look shined coldly. I began to tremble with unbelievable fear as I saw the doctor step by step come up to my lonely bed, holding tightly in his tough hands an examination tool – mum once told me something about it stealthily – which emitted a pale and frightful light. “Well …” despite perspiration streaming down my abnormally red face, I made a supreme effort to utter a word suddenly occurring to my mind. To my astonishment, he stopped. I thought with a little relief and joy that it was obviously a positive response to my effective word. As the doctor turned, I felt that the atmosphere in the room immersed in an unpleasant odor of medicine became mysterious and confusing. He exchanged an odd eye look with the nurse who gave a sepulchral and canny smile as her answer. I was about to ask what was going on when the girl stepped forward with something like a needle approaching me. I knew that my face was terribly pale because I heard their contemptuous and merciless laughter, which showed their awareness of my horror. I knew it actually. My scare about hospital has become my trouble ever since then.
Lord sent me a loving angel with pure withe wings and warm hands.WhenI put my arms around myself because of lonliness and fear, my angle reached out his warm hand, saying in a soothing way,"Come on, take my hand." Enchanting light from his wings drove away the darkness in my heart. Fascinating smell and voice took me far away to a peaceful harbour.Immersed in his everlasting smile, I gave him my hand without a second thought. "Trust me?"he asked me.Ijust nodded asIheld his hand tighter. Happy days flied. One day, my angle came up to me.His wings were badly hurt, scarlet blood streaming down.I couldn't move any further asif some untold powerhadmade every bit of its effortto push me back. I stretched out my hand trying my best to hold his hand, butI failed. "Trust me?"he forced a pleasant smile.Istooped down as huge tears running down my face. Then,my hands could feel the chillyearth. "Trust me?"the voice was weak but still touching. My heartwas beating faster .Inodded deeply. "Promise me you will never give up,"he continued.I nodded again looking at my tears beat the cold earth heavily. He forced another smile inorder to cheat me into believing that hewas all right.I also knew thatI had to stand on myown from then on."I will always stand by your side," his very last strenghth seemed to run out.I quite understood that. His warm hands, loving voice, gentle smile as well as his pleasant smile stayed forever in my heart. How muchIlonged to tell himIlove him so andI coulddevote my entire life to spend a second with him. However,I couldn't. I was born a dumb girl.Hewas graduallyout of sight. Suddenly thousands of shooting stars lightened the night sky. Then nothing left except my scattered heart. Iknew that I had lost everything to do with him."I will always love you."I cried aloud inside. "Promise me you will never give up." I promise you.
